This
section explains the functionality of the search engine
box which is in the top right corner of every page.
The search engine consists of two
boxes and a search button. The top box is for entering
keywords. The bottom box is a drop down menu allowing
you to select "All Words", "Any Word",
or "Exact Phrase". Most searches can be accomplished
by leaving the drop down menu on its default which is
"All Words".
In the keyword box you can type
letters or numbers, whole words or partial words, and
phrases. For example, if you want to see all of the sofa's
in our line simply type "sofa" and click the
search button. If you want to see all the pieces in our
Melrose line type "Melrose" and click the search
button. You could also type "Melr" since the
box can accept partial words.
Using the singular version of a
keyword rather than the plural version will usually return
better search results.
I have listed below, the various
parameters that you can search by.
1. Style Number - type any whole
or partial style number. For example: if you want to view
chair style number CF0401, type in "CF0401"
or "0401" and click the search button.
2. Furniture Type - search for
types by entering keywords such as: sofa, chair, armoire,
chest, bed, table, credenza, bench, console, or
ottoman.
3. Suite Name or Collection - If
you are familiar with our product lines you can type in
keywords such as: Melrose, Almont, Westbourne, Clarence,
or Upholstery.
